Rudy’s Hall
Rudy’s Hall harkens back more than a hundred fifty years as a meeting place in Middletown. Traveling shows came here to entertain the residents and town meetings were held here to keep the citizens informed of everything from the results of the national elections to the latest trends in dairy farming.
Now Rudy’s hall is set up with table space for 34 and seating for up to 60 for your meetings, classes and seminars. Modern projection equipment, microphones and video equipment are available upon request as are white boards and digital monitors. Subscribers at Wren’s Nest can reserve Rudy’s Hall for a discounted rate.
When Rudy’s hall isn’t being used for meetings or classes the large tables are perfect for collaborating in teams with space to spread out your work and brainstorming together in smaller groups. Several groups can work in the space simultaneously while other individuals get their work done in the comfortable seating areas also found in the space.
Rudy’s Hall is also our main gallery space. Artists take advantage of the rustic wall surfaces against which they show their works of art. The specialty lighting and secure hanging system is an ideal space for artists to display pieces for a month at a time. Carefully placed easels are also used to spotlight particularly special pieces for maximum visibility.
Artist showing in this space are usually kicked-off with well advertised openings catered locally and featuring wares from local wineries, cideries and mead producers. Combined with the adjacent spaces there is more than 350 linear feet of wall space for display.
